From 17 to 19 July 2026, the 30th Summer School for Young Scientists and Specialists (Lipnya 2026) will take place at the tourist resort of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research on Lipnya Island. Young JINR researchers and specialists, students, as well as employees of R&D organizations of Dubna and other cities under 36 are invited. Applications are accepted until 21 June.
The event’s organizers, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists (AYSS) of JINR, prepared various activities. The scientific programme will include lectures on the cutting-edge studies and current tasks of the Institute’s laboratories. As always, the key event will be the round table for the participants to ask questions to representatives of the JINR Directorate and the Dubna City District administration.
In addition, a variety of informal activities will be aimed at facilitating new connections and promoting horizontal networking outside of the office. These include:
- masterclasses and team building sessions,
- sports and outdoor activities,
- an intellectual quiz and board games,
- barbecue and campfire evenings with guitar music.
