The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research holds the annual grant competition since 2001, promoting the professional development and stimulating the educational and creative activity of the city’s teachers.
When considering the applications, the jury prioritises subjects and technologies essential for potential future JINR employees: life and engineering sciences, information technology, and advanced methods of additional school education in life sciences, including those utilised by primary school teachers. In addition, among the winners are teachers of Russian, English, and other languages, as well as literature, history, design and technology, and other equally important disciplines of the school curriculum.
