On 15 and 16 September 2022, at 7:00 PM, the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir” invites you to the jazz festival “MuzEnergo”.

The idea for the anniversary festival is “Cat in the Bag”, presenting four different bands on each of the two concert days, which will not be announced in advance. However, this uncertainty is reinforced by guarantees: the festival promises that there will only be professional artists of the highest standard, varied and balanced genres, undeniable quality and everything that jazz art is made of.

The MusEnergo festival was first held in Dubna precisely fifteen years ago – on 15 and 16 September 2007. In 2015, participants of the special MusEnergoTour, which was launched as a regular summer festival in the square behind the Cultural Centre “Mir”, drove by bus from Dubna to Vladivostok with 76 concerts.

More than 1,000 artists from 44 countries performed in Russia as part of the project. Grammy award winners, winners of prestigious international competitions, young talents and mature artists, experimental soloists and major symphony ensembles performed on the festival stage. The festival’s music has been broadcast on the BBC, written about in the federal press and abroad, and received governor’s prizes and bouquets from foreign ambassadors.

This is a festival for listeners of all ages and all levels of jazz knowledge.
