The meeting of the senior officials in science, technology and innovations of BRICS countries

JINR Vice-Director Grigory Trubnikov and Head of the JINR International Cooperation Department Dmitry Kamanin took part in the meeting of the senior officials in science, technology and innovations of BRICS countries on October 27, 2015. G.Trubnikov, being the head of the working group on scientific research and innovation work within BRICS, made a report on the results of work of the working group. The first meeting of the working group was held in Dubna on August 17. JINR was invited to participate in a discussion on BRICS which took place in the Ministry of Education RF on July 6, 2015.
Recommendations presented in the report had been developed as per the rich experience of JINR within cooperation with Brazil, India, China and South Africa. RSA has been the associated member of JINR since 2005. There also has been a fruitful cooperation with India and Brazil which was prooved by the recently held mutual activities like Forums India – JINR (2014) and Brazil – JINR (2015), Russia-China Commission meeting and the Round table (which took place on Oct 26, 2015 in Dubna).
