On July 6 2012 Moscow Region Governor Sergei Shoygu visited Dubna and the technological innovation special economic zone which is located there. He visited with both parts of the SEZ – on the right and left banks of the Volga, he was acquainted with some of innovative projects implemented by resident companies. A substantive discussion about issues of development of the Dubna urban districts and the special economic zone was held; on results of the discussion the Governor gave concrete instructions.
