A School “Radiobiology and nuclear safety” for Polish students from Lublin University (Poland) started on Monday, 19 April 2010, in the JINR University Centre with a moment of silence in memory of president of the Polish Republic Lech Kaczyński and Polish statesmen and public figures that perished in the plane crash near Smolensk.
The tragic event did not change the educational plans: during the week of their stay at JINR the students listened to lectures and got practical training in different areas of radiation and nuclear safety and radiobiology. Today, on the last day of the school, they will visit Sergiev Posad.
