The 22th International Symposium on Nuclear Electronics & Computing (NEC’09) is being held on7-14 September in Varna, Bulgaria.

The symposium was organized by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, (JINR) (Dubna, Russia), the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) (Geneva, Switzerland) and the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (INRNE) (Sofia, Bulgaria)

The symposium aims to stimulate the further development of investigations in the fields of nuclear electronics and computing for the purposes of physical research and the more close cooperation between JINR, CERN and INRNE. An important task of the symposium is to encourage participation in the symposium of a number of young specialists from Central and East European countries including Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Czech and Slovak Republics, Serbia, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan.
