Director of the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems at JINR Evgeny Yakushev took part in the conference “Modern Trends in Physics–2023”, organized by Baku State University (Azerbaijan). During his visit to Baku, Evgeny Yakushev held a series of meetings and spoke at a scientific seminar, where he informed the audience about the Institute activities and the DLNP scientific research.
Evgeny Yakushev met with Arif Mamed oglu Hashimov, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan in JINR and an Academician of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The parties discussed cooperation between JINR and scientific organizations of the Azerbaijan Republic. Academician Hashimov confirmed the interest of the Azerbaijan Republic in developing mutually beneficial cooperation with JINR and further strengthening of bilateral relations.
