The JINR Visit Centre was opened one year ago. On 30 May, members of the JINR Directorate, heads of JINR Departments, and leaders of the national groups of the JINR Members States came to the Visit Centre to discuss what has been achieved, what tasks are still to be completed, to congratulate the staff members of the International Cooperation Department.

— It gives me a great pleasure to congratulate the employees of the International Cooperation Department on behalf of the Institute, – JINR Director V.A. Matveev opened the festive event. – Today is a real festive day. A year ago, the Visit Centre was opened, that is what we have dreamed of and what we finally did. JINR is in a stage of rapid development, we expect influx of a huge number of young scientists who will participate in numerous research experiments. The Visit Centre is very useful, so I congratulate you and wish you every success.

Head of the International Cooperation Department D.V. Kamanin recalled the history of establishment of the Centre in his presentation “JINR Visit Centre: one year” and described the opportunities it provides. The guests of the Visit Centre expressed congratulations and wishes.
