On 9 – 10 February, the 8th Open Robotic Tournament CyberDubna-2019 will be held in the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir” in which teams from Dubna, Dmitrov, Yakhroma, Moscow, Protvino and Eldigino (Pushkin district) will take part.

On 9 February, closed competitions in the “Robot for life” nomination will be held. 7 – 10 years old participants will use the Lego Mindstorm platform, 11 – 16 aged participants will use the Arduino platform. Teams will be given tasks and necessary equipment. At the end of the competition day, the jury will sum up the results and award the winners.

On 10 February, at 11:00 AM, professor of the Keldysh Institute of Applied Physics Vladimir E. Pavlovsky will read an interesting lecture “Advanced robots: robots-snakes, sailing robots-yachts and others.” All interested are kindly invited!

From 12:00 PM, participants of the Tournament will compete in the nominations “Artistic competition” and “Races in the line” while 11-15 years old spectators will have an opportunity to take part in workshops on robotics.
