On 21 November 2018, the Veterans’ Council of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research welcomed guests in its new accommodation on the ground floor at Moskovskaya str. 10.

This originally city’s social organization was established on 28 January 2011, and since then, chaired by I.S. Yudin, it has earned a great authority among veterans of the Institute, veterans of the atomic industry. JINR Vice-Director M.G. Itkis, Head of the JINR Administration Services Office A.A. Broun, Chairman of the City Council of Deputies S.A. Kulikov, Chairman of the City Council of Veterans V.B. Trofimov congratulated new tenants. Hosts showed the guests around new halls, told them about organized events, excursions, trips, meetings with the youth captured on the photos that are hanged on the walls of new rooms. Addressing to the guests, Deputy Chairman of the Council S.A. Elizarova and Secretary of the Council G.N. Gubkova and their colleagues warmly thanked the JINR Directorate for care for veterans, allocated premises and new equipment thanks to which the work of the Council would be even more active.
