On 30 September 2018, JINR staff members demonstrated scientific and educational interactive experiments for visitors of the Student Charity Festival “From heart to heart” in the Kolomenskoe park (Moscow). The Festival, which gathered 4000 people on that day, made fund raising for the “Podsolnuh” (“Sunflower”) Fund that helps children with autoimmune diseases.
The Charity Festival “From heart to heart” is organized annually by the student voluntary group “The NRNU MEPhI service of good deeds”. The Festival “From heart to heart” is a big fair that gathers more than 20 creative, dance, concert, sports and scientific sites among which any visitor can find something interesting. Each site has a box, and everyone can give a donation of any size. Each year organizers of the Festival choose a charity fund with which they will further cooperate, and all collected donations are sent to this fund.
