The All-Russian Festival NAUKA 0+, the largest educational project in the fields of science popularization, will be held in a mixed format in Moscow. On 10 and 11 October, JINR will take part in the event at the central site in the Expocentre, in Krasnaya Presnya, and remotely. First Vice-Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research RAS Academician Grigory Trubnikov will perform at the Festival in the frames of the “Golden lecture hall”.

The priority field for the jubilee Scientific Festival NAUKA 0+ is “Future of Physics” in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry celebrated this year. The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research has already taken part in the Festival at the Samara site where it presented the science popular week dedicated to nuclear physics. Now the JINR stand will be demonstrated at the capital’s site of NAUKA 0+ next weekend.

This year, the traditional in-person format will be complemented with online events that will expand the audience and opportunities for both participants and guests. “Future of Physics” by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research will include scientific exhibitions, workshops by young scientists, science popular lectures, online excursions to the Institute’s laboratories. Moreover, JINR will present for the first time 3D exhibition items in the Virtual Science Museum. The access to the Museum will be open even after offline events of the Festival.
