“Modern trends in physics”

From 1 to 3 May 2019, the International Scientific Conference “Modern Trends in Physics” will be held in Baku. The Conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Baku State University. Organizers of the event are the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the STAR-NET (“Regional Network for Education and Training in Nuclear Technology”), the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the Sapienza University (Rome, Italy).

Chairman of the organizing committee is Prof. M. A. Ramazanov, Executive Director of the Institute for Physical Problems, Dean of the Physical Faculty of the Baku State University.

The following thematic sections will work at the Conference:

  • Nano, -opto electronics and material science;
  • theoretical and mathematical and high energy physics;
  • physical and technical foundations of alternative energy sources;
  • biological and medical physics;
  • condensed matter physics.

It is planned that materials of selected reports will be published online in the periodical included in Web of Science.

The organizing committee invites students, postgraduates, young scientists and specialists to take part in the International Scientific Conference “Modern Trends in Physics”.

According to the agenda of the Conference, the arrival is set on 30 April, the departure day is 4 May.

To participate in the Conference, it is necessary to pass the online registration via the link until 10 April 2019.
