A session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of JINR Member States

A regular session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of JINR Member States starts today in the International Conference Hall.
JINR Director Academician V.A. Matveev opens the session. He will present a report about recommendations of the 111th session of the JINR Scientific Council (September 2013) and a brief overview of the results of JINR activity in 2013 and plans for 2014.
A draft of the JINR budget for 2014 and a draft of contributions of JINR Member States in 2015, 2016, and 2017 were considered at a meeting of the JINR Finance Committee which preceeded the session of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries. M.V. Bashashin reported about the status and prospects on the project of transition to a unified information platform 1C 8.2 in JINR. G.V. Trubnikov spoke about preparation of construction of the NICA facility. Yu.A. Mitrofanova presented a scientific report on development of cryogenic systems of the NICA complex.
Chairman of the JINR Finance Committee S.Kulganek (the Czech Republic) will report on the milestones of the meeting of the JINR Finance Committee which was held on 19-20 November 2013.
JINR Assistant Director V.V. Katrasev will make a report on the draft of the JINR budget for 2014 and a draft of contributions of JINR Member States in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Reports of JINR Vice-Directors M.G. Itkis, R. Lednický will be devoted to analysis of the implementation status of the Seven-Year Plan for the Development of JINR in 2010–2016 and forecast for 2014-2016 and the next two years.
The session will conclude with decision-making and signing of the protocol.
Adoption of decisions and signing of a protocol will conclude the session.
