The 110th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding Soviet physicist, President of the USSR Academy of Science (1975-1986), three times Hero of Socialist Labor, one of the founders of Soviet nuclear physics Academician A.P. Alexandrov is celebrated on 13 February 2013.
President of the USSR Academy of Science A.P. Alexandrov present the Order of Friendship of Peoples, which JINR was awarded with on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, to JINR Director N.N. Bogoliubov (Dubna, 1976).
