The scholarship named after Academician V.G. Kadyshevsky

Following the JINR Director’s Order of 13 January 2015, the scholarship of Academician V.G. Kadyshevsky was established to eternize the memory of the outstanding Russian theoretical physicist and science organizer Academician V.G. Kadyshevsky and educate young scientists in the tradition of the Dubna school in theoretical physics.The scholarship was established to encourage creativity in young scientists who work in the fields of theoretical physics, conservation and development of leading scientific schools, increasing the intellectual potential of the Institute.Young scientists performing research at the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics whose age at the time of nomination does not exceed 35 years could be nominated for competition for the scholarship. Candidates for the scholarship are nominated by leaders of projects and topics at BLTP. The scholarship is awarded on the jury’s decision. The jury consists of members of the BLTP Directorate and leaders of BLTP themes. The scholarship is awarded for a period of 12 months. The amount of the scholarship is set annually by the JINR’s decree. The decision to award the scholarship is published in the  JINR Weekly newspaper “Dubna: science, cooperation, progress”.
