JINR Grants for teachers

JINR grants for school teachers and teachers of additional school education in Dubna

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research supports those who shape the future of science—teachers. Each year, JINR awards grants to educators in the city of Dubna in recognition of their contribution to developing scientific thinking, professional excellence, and nurturing talented school students.

Competition Objective

The grant competition is held with the following goals:
  • promoting the professional development of teachers;
  • encouraging teachers’ creative activity;
  • supporting educators teaching subjects and technologies essential for training specialists for JINR;
  • rewarding outstanding school teachers and supplementary education instructors in the city of Dubna.

Who Is Eligible?

  • Teachers from general education schools in Dubna;
  • Supplementary education instructors in Dubna;
  • Educators whose work is related to physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, and natural sciences.

How to Apply?

Applications are accepted from December to February each year. Watch for the official announcement on the JINR website and social media: Application materials must be submitted via both of the following methods simultaneously:
  1. In printed form—in a single envelope marked “Application for JINR Teacher Grants” and sent to: 6 Joliot-Curie St., Office 16, Dubna, Moscow Region, 141980, Russia.
  2. In electronic form—sent to: grants@jinr.ru.

Selection Procedure

Grants are awarded in accordance with the JINR Regulations on Teacher Grants, which define evaluation criteria, the composition of the selection committee, and the payment procedure.
