Teachers

Since 2009, in cooperation with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) the Institute has been holding annual scientific schools for science teachers from JINR Member-States. The main objective of these events is to popularise modern science and advances in modern physics among school students and teachers.

The Teachers’ School is not just an educational event—it is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of international scientific cooperation, engage with leading scientists and colleagues from different countries, and acquire practical tools to inspire your students to study natural sciences.

What does participation offer?

  • Access to original teaching materials developed by JINR and CERN experts;
  • Hands-on workshops and masterclasses on cutting-edge topics in physics, astrophysics, IT, and detector technologies;
  • Opportunities to integrate real scientific case studies into school curricula;
  • Membership in an international professional community of enthusiastic science educators.

How to participate?

  1. Register on the platform teachers.jinr.ru by completing the application form, uploading a photo, and providing links to your blog or social media profiles. Share your teaching achievements and your students’ successes.
