IBR-2 Pulsed Reactor

The IBR-2 Reactor is a high-current long-pulsed neutron source for fundamental and applied studies

Multifunctional Information and Computing Complex

Ensures 24x7 support of competitive global-level research conducted at JINR

Nuclotron

The Nuclotron Accelerator – a highly focused synchrotron – is designed to produce beams of multiply charged ions with an energy of up to 6 GeV/nucleon, protons, and polarised deuterons

U-400 and U-400M

The U-400 and U-400M Cyclotrons are designed for the studies of nuclear structure and nuclear reaction mechanisms

NICA

An international project implemented in Russia, NICA is one of six megascience projects supported by the Government of the Russian Federation

DRIBs

The new DRIBs Accelerator Complex is aimed at studying nuclear reactions and synthesising new nuclei under the action of unstable ion beams enriched with protons or neutrons

SHE Factory

SHE Factory is a unique research complex at JINR (Dubna), designed for the synthesis and study of the properties of superheavy elements of Mendeleev's Periodic Table

The Pion Facility was created at JINR by the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems at JINR in cooperation with Moscow Engineering Physics Institute and Institute for Nuclear Research of the USSR Academy of Sciences. It was used in the 1980s for experiments studying the interaction between 20–60 MeV pions (pi-mesons) and atomic nuclei.
