“NICA Vector”, the best social project of the year in the Moscow Region

Eight social entrepreneurs of the Moscow Region became the laureates of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “The best social project of the year”. The organizer of the competition is the Russian State Social University supported of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Russian Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises Support.

The competition is aimed to find the best projects and expertise of subjects of social entrepreneurship carrying out socially-oriented activities. Participants of the competition were commercial organizations, individual entrepreneurs, socially-oriented non-profit organizations that submitted their projects in the fields of social entrepreneurship.

According to Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region Vadim Khromov, the expert committee selected 8 winners out of 30 applications received from the social entrepreneurs of the Moscow Region at the regional stage of the competition.

Natalia Teryaeva became one of the winners for the project “The School for Young Engineers “The NICA Vector” in the nomination “The best project of social entrepreneurship in the field of additional education and upbringing of children”.

Winners of the regional stage become the nominees for the V All-Russian competition of projects in the fields of social entrepreneurship.

Background Information

The School for Young Engineers “The NICA Vector” has been operating in Dubna since 2016 as an educational project of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The School is directed by Candidate of Physics and Maths Natalia Yurievna Teryaeva. Classes of the School are held in the format of project activities. Students of the School learn 3D modelling, prototyping, robotic engineering and programming.
The School for Young Engineers “The NICA Vector” is held on the platform of the Dubna School #7.
