Summer meeting of the PAC for Particle Physics

The 47th regular meeting of the Programme Advisory Committee for Particle Physics will be held on 26-27 June 2017 under the chairmanship of Itzhak Tserruya in the International Conference Hall, Dubna.
The main topic of the PAC meeting will be the status and progress towards realization of the NICA mega-project, as well as realization of the MPD and BM@N projects. M. Gazdzicki, V. Kireyev, A. Nagaytsev, D. Naumov, O. Samoylov, V. Glagolev, L. Tkatchev will present their reports on themes and projects approved for completion in 2017 and proposals for their continuation.
Scientific reports will be presented by J. Miller “Search for muon-to-electron conversion: the Mu2e experiment at Fermilab” and M. Ivanov “Weak decays of B mesons in the light of the search for new physics”. The programme of the PAC PP meeting also includes poster presentations of young scientists in the fields of particle physics.
