The 110th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Grigorievich Meshcheryakov was celebrated in the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. Before the memorial seminar in the International Conference Hall, flowers were layed to the monument of the scientist on the Volga embankment.

On 17 September, in honour of the 110th anniversary of the birth of M. G. Meshcheryakov, his memorial room in LIT JINR was finished.
