The 80th anniversary of the outstanding Russian physicist and science organizer, RAS Academician Vladimir Georgievich Kadyshevsky (05.05.1937 – 23.09.2014) is on 5 May 2017.

On 12 May 2017, the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics will hold events dedicated to this jubilee. An opening ceremony of a memorial plaque will be held in room 436 on the 4th floor of the Laboratory where the Scientific Leader of the JINR worked during his last years. Friends, disciples and colleagues of V.G. Kadyshevsky will shared their memories at the Seminar in the BLTP Conference Hall. There will also be a presentation of the photo album issued on the occasion of the scientist’s anniversary. A special edition of the JINR Weekly newspaper devoted to the jubilee was based on this photo album.
