28 May marks the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a JINR Member State.
Throughout its entire history, JINR has maintained contacts with the Republic’s national scientific centres. The Joint Institute cooperates with colleagues from Azerbaijan on 12 topics of the JINR Topical Plan in areas such as the development of the Institute’s large scientific infrastructure, studies of neutron and neutrino physics, radiobiology, and participation in the personnel training programme. The parties’ researchers regularly exchange visits.
