We offer to your attention a preprint “Vibrations and oscillation instability of the IBR-2M Pulsed Reactor” P13-2022-44 published by the JINR Publishing Department. The authors are Yu. N. Pepelyshev, Ts. Tsogtsaikhan.
As a result of the studies on the statistical characteristics of pulse energy fluctuations and vibrations of the blades of the movable reflectors PO-3 at the IBR-2 and IBR-2M reactors, as well as studies of pulse energy fluctuations with a change in the sodium flow through the cores of these reactors, it has been shown that the appearance of low-frequency oscillations in both reactors is not related with vibrations of the reactivity modulator or reactor core elements.
