The meeting of the Programme Advisory Committee for Condensed Matter Physics took place on 20 – 21 January 2020. The implementation of the recommendations of the previous PAC meeting, the decisions of the JINR Committee of Plenipotentiaries adopted in November were considered at the event. Moreover, Director of the Laboratory of Neutron Physics Valery Shvetsov reported on the progress in the development of a concept for a new neutron source.
