In my talk, I will report on the recent four-loop calculation of the small angle expansion of the cusp anomalous dimension in QCD and the heavy quark field anomalous dimension in HQET. Also, I will provide details on the calculation of four-loop integrals containing eikonal propagators with the method of difference equations in the space-time dimension. A complete set of four-loop integrals is calculated with a new technique of fixing periodic functions in the solution of the difference equations in the space-time dimension variable. High-precision numerical results allow reconstruction of the analytical answer in three and four dimensions if one knows the required basis of transcendental constants, which I also plan to discuss in my talk.
