Results of the XXX Dubna Open Physics and Mathematics Olympiad

On Friday, 24 September, the XXX Dubna Open Physics and Mathematics Olympiad for 6-8 grade school students was held.

Not only children attending the Physics and Mathematics Open Classroom were invited to participate in the Olympiad but also everyone willing to try their hand at solving non-standard tasks that require, in addition to knowledge of physics and mathematics, intelligence and ingenuity.

47 students were solving Olympiad tasks. Some of the children are taking their first steps in exact sciences, and some of them has already known the joy of success in mathematical competitions.

The jubilee Olympiad was prepared and conducted by teachers of the Physics and Mathematics Open Classroom Alexander A. Leonovich, Evgenia and Mikhail Zhabitsky, Valentin Sadilov, Alexandra Shornikova. Deputy Director of UC JINR Alexander Verkheev congratulated the winners and prize winners of the Olympiad. The organizers of the Olympiad express their gratitude to the staff of School No. 9 for their aid in holding the Olympiad and regular lessons of the Open Classroom.
