Аннотация

The research overview with an introduction about some environmental challenges in the aquatic environment of the river Nile in Egyptare presented. Fourier Transformation Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and molecular modeling calculationsare utilized together to investigate molecular structure of the Nile sediment at greater Cairo region. Perspectives of applying neutron activation analyses to sediment are discussed.
