JINR Newsletter #1, 14 January 2026Dear colleagues and friends, The start of JINR’s anniversary year was marked with an important accomplishment. On 11 January, a xenon ion beam circulated in the lower ring of the NICA Collider for more than 100 microseconds. This is one of the milestones preceding the final stage of the collider’s launch – the collision of two beams in March.
