Аннотация:

Recent results of (alpha,alpha’) experiment (iThemba, South Africa) for isoscalar monopole (IS0) excitations in prolate ²⁴Mg and oblate ²⁸Si are analyzed within Skyrme Quasiparticle Random Phase Approximation method. The main attention is paid to the deformation-induced coupling of the isoscalar monopole (IS0) and quadrupole (IS2) excitations. The best description of the experimental data is obtained with the parametrization SkP with a low incompressibility modulus K=202 MeV. The calculations show that, in deformed nuclei, we need the simultaneous description of IS0 and IS2 excitations.
