A fairy tale “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” by Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann is one of the most popular and beloved by children all over the world.
It has got many theatrical interpretations. The most famous one is the well-known ballet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. “The Nutcracker” by Moscow New Drama Theatre is an exciting children’s musical. The main characters Maria, Fritz, the Mouse King and the Nutcracker dance and sing through the twists and turns of the plot according to the stage genre.
