Deep learning in computational physics will be discussed in MLIT

News, 24 May 2022

On 6 – 8 July, the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies JINR will host the 6th international workshop DLCP-2022. The workshop will be held in a mixed format. The poster section will be held on site only.

The workshop primarily focuses on the use of machine learning in particle astrophysics and high-energy physics, but is not limited to this area. Topics of interest are various applications of artificial neural networks to physical problems, as well as the development of new modern machine learning methods for analysing various scientific data, including big data.

Main topics

  1. Machine learning in particle astrophysics and high energy physics
  2. Modern machine learning methods
  3. Machine learning in natural sciences
  4. Machine learning in education

The working language is English. Participation is free.

Abstract submission is available until 22 June. Registration is open until 4 July.

Selected articles will be recommended for publication in the scientific journal “Numerical Methods and Programming” which is indexed in RSCI. The journal is included in the Higher Attestation Commission.

All correspondence concerning the workshop should be addressed to dlcp2022@jinr.ru.
