Grigory Trubnikov at plenary session of Technoprom-2022

On 23 August, the IX International Forum of Technological Development Technoprom-2022 was launched in Novosibirsk. It is a significant event in Science and Technology Decade in Russia. JINR Director Grigory Trubnikov spoke at the plenary session of the Forum.

Academician Trubnikov stressed the importance of maintaining and developing international scientific and technical cooperation, ” we have a large field for cooperation. India, China, South Africa, Brazil, which are present at our Forum today, are tremendously strong technological and scientific partners. We should engage with these and many other countries in a mutually beneficial dialogue.”

Grigory Trubnikov also noted that territories with a concentration of scientific intelligence need mobilising, targeted support from the government. “Concentrated support for priority, critical technology of science-driven territories of the Russian Federation is one of the most serious instruments that can be promptly activated,” he emphasised.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov, Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrey Travnikov, Deputy Director General for Science and Strategy of Rosatom Yury Olenin, Deputy Director General, General Designer at JSC United Engine Corporation Yury Shmotin, Vice President of Skolkovo Foundation Kirill Kaem, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Alexey Uchenov. Vadim Medvedev, Director of the National Technology Initiative Foundation, moderated the session.

Representatives from more than 20 countries take part in the Technoprom-2022 Forum, including delegations from Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, UAE, etc.
