The JINR Scientists’ Club invites everyone interested to the exhibition of art works by Boris Kustodiev and Victor Popkov at the State Tretyakov Gallery. The trip will take place on 10 May 2025.

The visitors will be introduced to a monographic exhibition of one of the vividest artists of the twentieth century, Boris Kustodiev. He worked as an easel painter, scenographer, was fond of sculpture, was fluent in a variety of graphic techniques and drawing methods. The artist painted portraits of contemporaries, landscapes, and genre works, depicting the life and colour of Russia, features of the national character, everyday life and holidays of the Russian province. The author created a unique style and his own picturesque Russia.
