Registration for International Baldin Seminar opens
News, 23 May 2025
From 15 to 20 September 2025, the 26th International Baldin Seminar on High Energy Physics Problems, Relativistic Nuclear Physics and Quantum Chromodynamics will take place at VBLHEP at JINR. The event is organized by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
The programme of the event includes overeview presentation on current experimental and theoretical research in relativistic nuclear physics. Experts will discuss prospects for the development of modern accelerator complexes in the world’s largest research centers and talk about the progress of international projects.
Topics of the seminar:
- long-distance quantum chromodynamics;
- relativistic heavy ion collisions;
- hadron spectroscopy, multiquarks;
- cumulative and subthreshold processes;
- structural functions of hadrons and nuclei;
- multiparticle production dynamics;
- polarisation phenomena, spin physics;
- nuclear astrophysics;
- exotic nuclei in relativistic beams;
- applied use of relativistic beams.
Registration is available until 15 August via the link on the event’s page. The event will take place in person. The working language is English.
