From 18 to 20 July 2025, the 29th Summer School for Young Scientists and Specialists (Lipnya 2025) will take place at the tourist resort of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research on Lipnya Island. Young scientists and specialists of JINR and Dubna enterprises under 36 are invited. Applications are accepted until 3 July.

The event’s organizers, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists (AYSS) of JINR, prepared a rich programme including engaging lectures that cover both the research activities of the Institute’s laboratories and the work of the JINR offices and departments. At the annual round table with the JINR Directorate, the participants will have a chance to discuss topical issues and prospects for the development of the Joint Institute and the city of Dubna.

Among other activities of the school’s programme are:

• masterclasses and team building sessions,
• sports and outdoor activities,
• a quiz and board games,
• barbecue and campfire evenings with guitar music.

The working language of the school is Russian. Registration is available via the link until 3 July (Wednesday), 6:00 PM. The number of participants is limited.
