Lecture on languages and peoples of North

The JINR Universal Public Library invites visitors over 14 to the “Languages and peoples of the North: traditions and transformations” lecture.
The lecturer is a sociolinguist, post—graduate student at the Department of Anthropology of the European University at St. Petersburg, and a field researcher of the Khanty and forest Nenets communities in the Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Regions Maria Aristova.
Maria will talk about the indigenous peoples of the North, the uniqueness of their culture and way of life, the preservation of languages and traditions, and more.
