Arctic Air lecture

The JINR Universal Public Library invites visitors over 14 to the lecutre entitled “Arctic Air. The results of the scientific and educational expedition “Arctic Floating University 2022: the Changing Arctic”.

The speaker is Advisor to the Director for Applied Research and Innovation at the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics at JINR, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics, author and co-author of more than 570 scientific publications, 25 books and two patents of the Russian Federation, participant of the Arctic expedition Marina Frontasyeva.

At the lecture, visitors will learn about methods of studying the environment, why JINR scientists collected mosses, soils and sediments in the Arctic, and what heavy metals enter the ecosystem of the Arctic and other regions.
