Date and Time: Wednesday, 2 March 2022, at 11:00 AM

Venue: Conference Hall (bld. 3), the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics

  1. Seminar topic: “Thermodynamic characteristics of particles produced in πC interactions at 40 GeV/c as a function of the cumulative number and the van der Waals equation of state”

Authors: M. Sovd, Ts. Baatar, A. I. Malakhov, B. Otgongerel, B. Batgerel and
    G. Sharkhuu

    Speaker: Ts. Baatar.

    Abstract:

In this paper, we determined constants a and b of the van der Waals equation of state using the experimentally obtained critical parameters Tc, Vc and Pc for π mesons and protons from πC interactions. We also analyzed p-V diagrams.

  2. Seminar topic: “Two different distance scales of q2 and VQCD potential of protons from πC interactions at 40 GeV/c”

    Authors: Ts. Baatar, A. I. Malakhov, B. Otgongerel, M. Sovd, G. Sharkhuu

    Speaker: Ts. Baatar.

    Abstract:

In this paper, we expressed the formula for the four-momentum squared q2 as a function of two different distance scales r1 and r2. This procedure necessitates to take into account an additional derivative from the formula for q2 (or the running of αs(q2)). We calculated the force using the potential VQCD(r2). The impact of r2 parameter to the force is also studied.

  3. Seminar topic: “On the possibility of pion condensation from πC interactions at 40 GeV/c”

    Authors: M. Sovd, Ts. Baatar, A. I. Malakhov, B. Otgongerel, B. Batgerel,
    G. Sharkhuu

    Speaker: Ts. Baatar.

    Abstract:

In this paper we consider the possible observation of the π meson condensation on the basis of the dependence of the temperature (T) as a function of the target mass (mt) and the chemical potential (μsecB,T)) from π+C interactions at 40 GeV/c.
