Seminar topic: “About a possible test of T-invariance in a measurement of neutron-nuclear total cross sections with a usage of “Polarization-Asymmetry” theorem”

Speaker: V. R. Skoy

Abstract:

It is shown that in the frames of “Polarization-Asymmetry” theorem a test of T-invariance in a measurement of neutron-nuclear total cross sections is possible without a usage of polarized or aligned targets. The test is feasible both in a presence of P-odd effect and without it. The measurable quantities have the same form like in the suggested experiments with polarized targets.
