AYSS seminar in JINR Scientists’ Club

Seminars

On 19 January 2023, at 4:15 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR invites you to the next seminar that will take place in the hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

LRB JINR junior researcher Regina Kozhina will make a presentation “DNA repair: all is well that ends well”.

Regina Kozhina speaks about the seminar, “Year by year, public interest in Life Science is growing steadily. We will speak at the seminar why much attention is paid to the influence of ionizing radiation on living organisms. We will discuss what does a DNA molecule experience, how a cell ensures the stability of its own genetic information, what is DNA repair, how important it is at different levels of life organization, and whether DNA damage could be useful for science.”

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.

If you are going to join the event of 19 January, please take part in the survey via the link not later than 4:00 PM 18 January.
