Abstract:
A review of internal gas targets, which used in physical experiments at electron and ion accelerators, is given. The formation of molecular and cluster beams is discussed. The cluster target developed by BINP for the CSR storage ring, Lanzhou, China, described in detail. The creation of a cluster target for JINR based on the existing target for the PANDA discussed.
