AYSS seminar in JINR Scientists’ Club

Seminars

On 1 March 2023, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR invites you to the next seminar that will take place in the hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

Please, pay attention that the AYSS seminars will be held on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM, beginning this week.

Artem Russakovich (DLNP JINR junior researcher) will deliver a report “Making mountains out of molehills, and not only”.

Artem comments on the seminar, “Our life, as well as any life, is regulated by basic and (almost) universal biological principles. The most important features are laid in our genetic code, which, from the point of view of a programmer, has supporting each other crutches, hundreds of non-working fragments that are commented out, and effective extraordinary decisions. At the lecture, we will speak about how we can start if not speaking then at least understanding the genetic language using a pipette, a thermostat, and some solutions.”

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.

If you are going to join the event of 1 March, please take part in the survey via the link not later than 4:00 PM 28 February.
