Abstract:

Upcoming startup of SHE Factory, the FLNR new accelerator complex considerably widens the range of study of superheavy elements.

The new ways of synthesis of SHE and further approaching of the peak of the island of stability of SHE as well as study of structure and properties of the already synthesised isotopes of SHE are discussed. Experiments for U400 accelerator beams with transfer to DC280 cyclotron beams are planned.

New theoretical data on electronic structure of superheavy atoms and relativistic effects in the nucleus Coulomb field changing chemical properties of the heaviest elements of the Periodic Table will be presented.
