Abstract:

We show theoretically that robust Majorana fermion can be localized at the edge of the superconducting island on the top of topological insulators by the orbital effects of magnetic field without any ferromagnetic insulators. At higher magnetic field Majorana fermion can be localized not at any type of topological defect but in the sample bulk. This Majorana fermion is localized far away from the vortex core at the magnetic field depended radius. We found that in the biased bilayer AA stacked graphene excitonic phase coexists with the antiferromagnetic order of the G type. We explained anomalous anisotropic magnetoresistance of the surface states of topological insulator with a hexagonal warping.
