Abstract:

Textures in the form of domain walls, magnetic spirals and skyrmions are considered as interlayers of S/F/S Josephson junctions. We show that in general these structures can have an arbitrary ground state phase difference between the electrodes. This results in the current-induced domain wall motion, which can be detected by the Josephson voltage pulses. We also reveal energy differences between Josephson junctions via left and right-handed magnetic helices as well as via the magnetic skyrmions with opposite topological charges, what leads to the possibility of removing fundamental degeneracies between topologically distinct magnetic textures.
