Abstract:

The study of processes pp- and pA-interactions with particles production in pT > 1 GeV/c region have showed that the theoretical description requires to draw on the diquark configurations. Models using diquarks are successfully used to describe the entire spectrum of baryons and mesons including the exotic states (as tetraquarks and pentaquarks). Diquark components are used to describe the formation (hadronization) of hyperons and their polarization. Recent calculations on lattices have shown that the diquark component is important part of high densities and low temperatures state of nuclear matter. The analysis of existing experimental data shows that the study of processes in pT > 1 GeV/c region and an energy range sqrt (sNN) < 10 GeV will provide proof of existence of the diquark component and determination of the diquark properties.
The physical program is discussed that will be realized at experimental set ups which under construction. This physical program will give possibility to understand the nature of the diquark component and the nature of the observed effects in the high pT region which have no explanation up to now.
