Abstract:
In recent years, the reactions of multi-nucleon transfers in low-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions are considered as a method for producing yet-unknown neutron-rich nuclides, hardly reachable by other methods. Modeling the dynamics of nuclear reactions induced by heavy ions, in full the complexity of competing reaction channels, remains a challenge. The work is aimed at developing such a model and its application for the analysis of multi-nucleon transfers occurring in deep inelastic collisions of heavy ions, leading, in particular, to the formation of neutron-enriched isotopes of heavy and superheavy nuclei.
